Affordable Therapy

Access to therapy matters.

This practice offers limited affordability options to help reduce financial barriers while maintaining consistent, high-quality care. The information below outlines how reduced-fee options are handled and what clients can expect when inquiring about affordability.

  • A limited number of sliding-scale appointments are available for clients who may be experiencing financial constraints. Sliding-scale fees are offered based on individual circumstances and availability, and are intended to support access to care while maintaining sustainability of the practice.

Sliding-scale availability may vary and cannot be guaranteed for all clients.

  • Clients who wish to inquire about affordability options are invited to do so prior to scheduling or during the intake process. When appropriate, sliding-scale arrangements are discussed collaboratively and with respect for privacy and dignity.

Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and may involve a brief conversation about financial circumstances. Documentation is not retained in the medical record.

  • For some clients, using insurance benefits may be the most accessible option. Information about accepted insurance plans and how insurance is used for therapy is available on the Insurance page.

Standard self-pay fees and payment information can be found on the Fees & Payment page.

  • Affordability conversations are handled openly and respectfully. The goal is to ensure clients have a clear understanding of available options before beginning services, without pressure or obligation.

If you have questions about affordability, you are welcome to reach out prior to scheduling.

  • Good Faith Estimates

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate, which helps outline the expected cost of services.

This applies to clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance.

Under federal law, clients who do not have insurance, or who choose not to use their insurance, may request a Good Faith Estimate before services begin or at any time during care.

A Good Faith Estimate is designed to provide a general overview of expected costs based on the information available at the time it is created. It is intended to support transparency and help you plan for services with greater clarity.

    Your estimate may include:

    • The cost of therapy sessions

    • The expected frequency of services

    • The time period covered by the estimate

    • Any additional expected service-related costs

It may be helpful to know that services and scheduling can be adjusted over time to best support your needs. A Good Faith Estimate is not a bill and does not require payment. It is provided to support transparency about potential costs.

If a bill is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, federal law allows you to request a formal review of the charges.

If needed, you may contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for assistance with a formal review:
